The 18th annual Running Bear Run returns on Tuesday July 22, 2025. The race, professional chip-timed,  is held rain or shine starting at Cherry Republic on Lake Street in Glen Arbor. Start times are 9 AM for the 5K Run/Walk with the 1/2 Mile Kid’s Run starting at 9:05 a.m. Online registration will begin on Thursday, May 1 and will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025.  In-person registration is Monday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Glen Arbor Township Hall and also on Race Day from 7:30 a.m. to  8:55 a.m. at the Race venue on Lake Street.
