Traverse City Track Club presents the "Third Thursday" Trail Run Series, a series held on the third Thursday of the month at on area trail systems for all paces and abilities.

Runners and walkers can join active friends to get off the roads and into the woods as a way to add variety to their training. Each session will include a brief member-led trail running Q&A before the start of each run.

This month is the the Pelizzari Natural Area

Headlamp Required as it will be a night run.

Optional social after at Reflect Bistro (inside Cambria Suites)

What: 3rd Thursday Trail Run Series
Where: Pelizzari Natural Area
Who: Anyone that loves trails!

When: 6PM on Thursday, December 15th
Why: Because we love dirt, the woods, and sometimes pavement hurts!

How Far? Most of us will do around a 5k loop. Some will do shorter distances (Outside Full loop is 2.2 miles)

5K Option

First Big Loop - 2.2 Miles: Parking lot to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (bonus loop at 5 - “Hemlock Forest”), 6, 7, 8, 9, (longer loop to 10 “Upper Field”), 8, 7, 11, 12, 13, back to parking lot.

Second Smaller Loop - 0.9 Miles: Parking lot to 1, 2, shortcut to 12, 13, back to parking lot.
